Indianapolis, IN – It is about 2:00am in the morning, and I wanted to share these pictures with you earlier, but I had a little distraction.  One of our trees was struck by lighting.  I got a call from one of my neighbors asking if I knew the one of our trees was on fire.  It looked like a big huge bonfire at the base of the tree.  I called to check with the fire department to see if they thought that they should come out or not.  It wasn’t close to the house, but they came out to check anyways.  So thanks to the Galveston Fire Department for coming out with their help. 

Ok…so now on to Justin and Jenna’s engagement pictures from Indianapolis.  I have a story about them that is so cool.  I talked with Jenna back a few months ago when she asked if I had a specific date available for her wedding.  Unfortunately I was already booked.  So I gave her some things to look for and ask when they were looking for another wedding photographer.  A couple of days later she told me that they had changed their date to one of my available dates.  So I felt very honored by this.  So thank you guys again.  That means a ton to me.

I won’t mention where we were in a couple of these “grassy” shots.  I noticed that after we left as I was walking back that there was a “Keep Off the Grass” sign.   Oops.  Plush grass is a premium when you are downtown Indianapolis, so I guess I can see why. 

Wise Photography – Wedding Photographer

Indianapolis, Indiana – I had a lot of fun with Rebecca and Bradley down in Indianapolis during my engagement session tour down there.  They were asking in the beginning of the session of whether I would be giving them instructions on what to do.  That turned out to be really funny because after about 10 minutes or so I think they forgot about me and didn’t seem to need my “instructions” anymore.  It is funny how that seems to happen.   I look forward to being with you guys on your wedding day as I am sure that you guys are going to ROCK when we get Rebecca in her wedding gown and Bradley in the black tie.

Indianapolis, Indiana – I stopped at the Kona Grill yesterday on my way down to Indianapolis for some engagement sessions.  My wife doesn’t like sushi at all, so really the only time that I would get to eat here is when I am by myself.    California rolls, sashimi, and shrimp tempura rolls were the choices for the day.  I was tempted to get the soft shelled crab, but for some reason I am still holding out on that one.  Probably next time…

The sessions were great yesterday.  We were meeting downtown in Indianapolis on Monument Circle, but that quickly changed when I got about a mile away and saw the barricades for the Indianapolis 500 Kid’s Day activities.  It wasn’t a big deal as I had about 100 other places in mind to shoot, so now we were down to 99.
