Kokomo, Indiana – Nick and Alasha were married at the St. Patrick Catholic Church with their reception following at the Continental Ballroom.

I love shooting the shots of the bride getting ready.  The details and the excitement are like nothing else…

I also love being able to capture moments when bride and grooms exchange letters before the ceremony…She cried too Nick, so don’t worry about the tears.

Nick and Alasha saw each other before the ceremony.  I love when couples do this.  The guests don’t have to wait on you to finish your pictures, there is so much more time to shoot with the bride and groom, and best of all you get that moment all to yourselves.

How cute are these two little guys?  They were perfect!

I love my Canon Fisheye f2.8 lens.  It just gives the shot a whole new look…

The reception was at Rozzi’s Continental Ballroom.  They did a great job of taking care of everything!

The grand entrance!!  Only the coolest people can pull off the shades!!

This is my favorite shot of the day.  I love the fact that Nick and Alasha are in their own little world together…

My assistant/second shooter, Laura, is such a huge help during the wedding day…

Then she caught me later trying to sneak some shots in with the Canon 70-200 f2.8IS before the ceremony….This is one of my favorite lenes when being all “ninja-like”…

Here are a couple of shots that Laura grabbed that show off my Camera Slinger.  This is such an awesome addition to my shooting.  I love how fast I can get to my cameras and how much it supports my cameras on my body.

Here is a shot that she grabbed of me at the end of the day trying to get higher than my 6′3″ frame will allow…

Thanks Alasha and Nick for having me as part of your wedding day.  I enjoyed you both very much.  I wish you both the best in Florida!  (Can’t wait to see you guys at Tyson and Tiffany’s wedding!)

I wanted to thank Jeff Hodson of Wedplan101.com and X-Sight Music and Crista Tharp of Tharp Events for all their hard work in making the Kokomo Bridal Show such a huge success.  A special thanks also goes to Continental Ballroom for hosting the event.  I enjoyed talking with everyone there.  I met some new people to the wedding scene, and I also caught up with some of my old friends too.

I loved my setup with the LCD.  It kept everything very simple.  I always have hated trying to cram as many pictures into the booth space.  I was able to showcase about a hundred images, my KISS albums, and the canvas gallery wraps…

Kokomo, IN-Daniel and Rochelle had their wedding ceremony at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Kokomo with their reception following at the Continental Ballroom.  I met Daniel and Rochelle as they were attending Matt and Leslianne’s wedding, so honestly it doesn’t seem possible that it was that long ago. 

I wanted to start this with one.  It is one of my favorite shots of the day.  It makes me wonder if their grandkids will ask when they are looking at their wedding pictures and ask…Grandpa…”What’s a Blackberry?”

But anything sealed with a KISS is always much better…

I also loved this shot of Daniel getting ready with his dad helping him get his flower on…

She is probaly thinking…Who are those gorgeous ladies??  They look just like me…

Kokomo, IN – Samantha and Wes got married at the Main Street Christian Church with their reception at the Continental Ballroom. 

This shot was really funny to me.  I was shooting the ring bearer and flower girl and as I am shooting with the flower girl I look up and he is in the perfect “lean against the wall” type pose.

I am all out of flowers!!

Pastor Steve Cole officiated the ceremony.  I love listening to his words as they are always so true and heartfelt.  Wes felt some of the power of those words…
