I know that I have been slacking on the blog a little bit, so I am going to make it up to all you blog stalkers out there with two posts in one day!  :)

Matt and Ashley are getting married here in a very short time, so I wanted to make sure that I got you guys on the blog! :) Matt and Ashley are Indianapolis Colts fans, IU (Indiana University) fans, and are going to be a blast to be with on their wedding day! I can’t wait! See you guys soon!

I am sorry for not blogging as much as I usually do, but these last five to six weeks have been extremely busy.  If you are not following me on Twitter yet you can start by clicking here.  You can also add me as a friend on Facebook here as I am adding pictures on there as well.  So I guess that my blog has expanded so to speak to Tweets, Facebooking, and Blogging..

Mark and Kiley are getting married next fall so they are a little ahead of the game. Some couples can’t believe that wedding dates go so quickly, as most of my popular dates go about 12-14 months out. So if you are planning your 2010 wedding get on the ball and start getting things booked. It was also great to be able to shoot their engagement session before Mark had to go overseas. I enjoyed working with you guys and can’t wait for your wedding day next year!  Wow that seems crazy to think about 2010 weddings already!

Kokomo, Indiana – I don’t do very many engagement sessions over the winter months, but when I do I always wonder why I don’t do more.  It always gives couples more of a reason to snuggle up to each other to keep warm.  But then I remember that it is really difficult with the weather changing from a 20 degree day with a 10 degree windchill to a day like we had for this.  I think it might have gotten all the way up to the low 50s.  I guess that is one of the challenges of living in Indiana from the 90 degree August humidity to the chance of January snow and 5 degree windchill factors.

So I want to thank Zach and Rosie for being flexible with their schedule and for braving the somewhat cold and windy conditions. :)

OUCH!! :) (Zach was so focused that he didn’t even flinch.)

We got a little cold, so we were able to stop in at a coffee shop for a little bit.

I love this last shot.  I am not a fan of “live view” shooting, but this shot allowed for me to see the screen when I shot this from above with the new Canon 5D Mark II.

I can’t wait to see you guys again on your wedding day. :)   M

It is only fitting to share this engagement session today.  You will understand here in a few minutes…maybe 15-18…something like that…:)

Trent and Liz are getting married next year, so we were able to take advantage of the gorgeous fall weather we have been having lately for their engagement session.  I have known Trent for almost ten years I would imagine, as he played tennis for me when I used to coach.  So this is always special to me when I get to shoot a friend’s wedding.  I have enjoyed getting to know Liz as well.  She is as sweet as can be and she seems perfect for Trent.

I can’t wait for your wedding guys!  I am sure it will be an awesome event.

Ok…now here is where the sweetness ends…

Trent gave me this excuse about being from Michigan…blah blah blah…and Tom Brady…blah blah blah…so that was the reason…

I think if that is the worst disagreement that Trent and Liz have in their relationship that they will be ok…

We put a wager on the game and the loser had to carry the other person on their back for a victory lap…Liz and I knew what the outcome of the game would be, so we had Trent pay up…
