Jesse and Jill were married at the First Congregational Christian Church in Kokomo, Indiana.  They followed their ceremony at the Casa Bella Banquet Hall with Jeff Hodson from X-Sight Music taking care of the evening’s events.  Karen Peelle did a wonderful job with the flowers as always.

Thanks Jesse and Jill for including me in your wedding day.  Wishing you guys the best! M

I just loved Jesse’s wedding ring.  Most guy’s rings are dull and boring (or simple I should say) and so when I saw this one I really liked the different look…

Sometimes “mistakes” have a way of working out…as I was looking over the images I saw this one and for a second I thought about hitting the delete key.  The more I looked at it the more it became one of my favorite images of the day. :)   Looks like both “Fathers” were ready to walk her down the aisle.

The staff at Casa Bella did an incredible job of taking care of everyone that evening.  I was shooting the ring shots during the time when everybody was eating the creme brulee, so they set me up with a take out! :)   That rocks!

Kokomo, Indiana – Heather and Cory were married on a gorgeous day at the Morning Star Church with their reception following at the Casa Bella Banquet Hall.

It is always interesting to me the connections that I have with the people that I shoot their weddings.  Heather’s dad played tennis for my dad on his high school team, so I have known Mark for a lot of years.  So I have also known Heather for a lot of years as well.  All the way back to when she played tennis back in middle school.

I actually just got to see Cory and Heather this past weekend as guests for Sarah and Ryan’s wedding, and they are doing great.  Thanks guys so much for including me on your wedding day.  All the best!  M

The gorgeous flowers were from Karen Peelle…

Cory and Heather saw each other before their ceremony, which I loooove this when couples do this, so we were able to shoot a lot of shots of them together before the day started.

Heather’s dad gave a great toast to the bride and groom…

Then Jessica and Ali toasted/roasted the couple, but in an elegant and sweet way that only they could. :)

Kokomo, IN – October has been by far one of the busiest months of the year for me with tons of weddings, couples with their engagement sessions, and seniors trying to wrap up their shoots outside.  It has been pretty hectic so far, and I still have a couple of weeks left.  But this is where Jenna and Justin come in and also why I love my job so much.  Both of them were so relaxed and easy to work with that at times I felt like I was more of a guest.  That is always something that I enjoy when everybody forgets what I am there to do and things happen right in front of me that will be special in their eyes forever.

Their ceremony was held at the Chapel Hill Christian Church and was followed by the reception at the Casa Bella Ballroom.

It is always nice when you have help getting ready…

Check out the attitude in this shot!!!  Don’t mess with us…

I loved this relaxed shot…

This is one reason I shoot with the Canon 135L as this was way back in the shadows as Jenna was getting ready to come up the aisle.  F2…1/30

I thought I would show a couple of different shots that I did of the same “moment” with remote cameras.  I love the fact that most of the time people never even know they are there, so the moments are so real…

and the remote camera angle…

wiseweddingb2-9.jpg

This was another remote camera shot as they were leaving to get in their getaway car…I basically mounted this to the driver’s side window with a tripod and a magic arm…

and then my shot of the same scenario…as well as a Wise Photography Favorite of the Day!

This was very cool…They donated to Flashes of Hope instead of party favors.  I love it when couples do this…

I caught a glimpse of the notes from the best man’s speech…”Been Friends Forever” pretty much says it all…

I am not sure exactly who took this shot or how I got suckered into joining this shot either…:)

X-sight Music had the dance floor packed once again. :)

Sometimes requests can rock…This was during Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline”…..”So good, so good, so good..”

Justin and Jenna…I want to thank you for letting me share in your wedding experience.  You guys are both so deserving of each other.  Wishing you the best…M

Tipton and Kokomo, Indiana – Steven and Lindsay were married at the Rock Prairie Church in Tipton with their reception following at the Casa Bella Banquet Room.  The weather outside was (about 92) a little warm, so we took advantage of the beautiful entry way at Casa Bella.  The staff at Casa Bella did a fantastic job in taking care of everyone.  The food all looked so delicious, and the dessert bar was a huge hit.

I loved the little details on the day from the M&M’s to the “Custom Blend” coffee and tea guest favors.  They had Hope Oaks playing the bagpipes as well, so that was a really cool touch.  I have seen/heard Hope play before and she is awesome!  Karen Peelle was also in action with the flowers, so that put the icing on top for the day. :)

Thanks Steven and Lindsay for including me in your wedding day…
