My youngest son, Blake, turned two over the weekend, so we had his “Thomas the Tank Engine” party yesterday.  We actually did the mexican theme as well for the food.  Mexican is about my favorite food, so that means I will be eating tacos and related taco dishes for the next few nights.

Blake was going nuts opening the presents that had train stuff, and then the ones that had clothes were tossed aside unless they had “Thomas” on there.  He even had a “Thomas” cake.  It is so funny how kids take on certain personalities and become consumed with different characters and themes.  For Cole it was “Bob the Builder” and anything tool related.  Blake doesn’t really care for that or tools.  I look forward to seeing what the next thing for Blake will be in the year to come…
