Kokomo, Indiana – Tim and Courtney had an outdoor wedding planned at Celebrations with their reception following. Unfortunately their plans changed a little bit when the rain came in within a few minutes of their ceremony. That didn’t change the spirit of their day with everyone having a great time. The DJ for the evening was Jeff Hodson from X-Sight Music, so of course the dance floor was packed.  Thanks to Roseann for all her help at Celebrations!

My favorite shot of the day…so I saved the best for last.

I wanted to let everybody know about the bridal show coming up on October 4th, 2010 from 1-4. The Greater Kokomo Bridal Gala will be featured at one of the newest event centers in the Kokomo area, Celebrations.

I will be attending this bridal show, so be sure to come and introduce yourself.  If I am not at my booth I am probably over talking with another vendor.  I have a habit of wandering/talking during bridal shows.  I hate to feel like I am pressuring brides into “wanting” information.  I try to let my work speak for itself, and I figure that if you want to book your wedding with me that you will be able to let me know that.  Some people might disagree, but is just how I work.  I always wonder what people are thinking when they are trying to pressure sale people at bridal shows.  So I promise that you can browse freely.  I won’t be hanging over your shoulder.

Here is a list of some of the vendors that will be attending the show.  I always enjoy getting to meet the people that are new in the wedding industry, as well as getting to catch up with my friends that I get to work with, but sometimes don’t get to talk to that much on the wedding day itself.  This is always a bonus for me to be able to send my brides to people that I know and trust.
