Breanna and Scott’s Wedding Photobooth – Hawthorns Country Club – Fishers, Indiana Wedding Photographer

Fishers, Indiana – After a wonderful wedding ceremony for Breanna and Scott at the Hawthorns Country Club last weekend I wanted to share their pictures from the Photobooth at their reception.  So of course everyone is a little shy to start, but then the wedding party took over and the bride and groom’s dads started rocking the stage.  There are many more shots from the Photobooth on my Facebook page here, so be sure to “Like” the Mike Wise Photography page and comment and tag anyone you know.  You can only comment if you “Like” the page.  These pictures are for you to enjoy and use, so feel free.

Thanks Scott and Breanna for everything!  Can’t wait to share the images from the wedding with you guys!

Thanks for a great wedding day Scott and Breanna! You guys were awesome!  Wishing you much happiness in your marriage!

Kokomo Homefront Children’s Foundation T-ball League – Children’s Kids Portrait Photography

I have been going to baseball games my entire life.  From t-ball to little league to even all the way up to major league baseball I think that I enjoy watching the kids as they play at the Homefront T-ball league the best.  The reason is to see the smiles that are on the kid’s faces.  I love the fact that these kids are having fun.  They are playing for the simple fact of being on a team, being outside, and being a “baseball player.”  I don’t recall anybody asking who won, what the score was, or who the best player was that night.  The smiles coming from these kids is something that I love getting to see because too many times surrounding baseball I see kids (and parents) that forget why they are out there.

The Homefront Children’s Foundation once again had a very successful season for the second year in a row at UCT park in Kokomo with approximately 50 participants.  The league was started last year by Jennie Ousley in hopes of getting a few players to be able to participate in a t-ball league for special needs children and the response from last year was such a positive one that there were many returning players again this year.  It was great seeing the familiar faces out on the field and see how much they had grown in a year.

A special thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors for their time and effort to make this year’s league a success.  Here are a few of the pictures from the league and of course the smiles…

Kokomo Humane Society’s Ales For Tails Event at The Quarry – Kokomo, Indiana

The 2011 Ales For Tails event was again presented by the Kokomo Humane Society for the sixth year with this year’s event being held at The Quarry in Kokomo, Indiana.  This event has grown so much over the last three  years that I have been a part of it.  There are always a huge selection of craft beers, flavors that you would never imagine with a beer, and then of course the darks.  There were all kinds of delicious appetizers served up by the staff at The Quarry as well as deserts by J. Edwards Chocolates. All of the proceeds from the event as well as the silent auction benefit the Kokomo Humane Society.  If you have not attended this event before make sure you mark it down on your calendar for June next year as this year’s event sold out.  Thanks for all the sponsors from this year’s event.

  • J. Edwards Fine Chocolates
  • The Quarry
  • Mid-America Beverage
  • World Class Beverages
  • Howard County Home Brew Club
  • Kokomo Humane Society
  • and many others who donated.

Caroline’s Senior Portrait Session – Kokomo High School Senior, Lady Kat’s Basketball, Softball, Soccer – Kokomo Senior Pictures

Caroline will be one of my last 2011 Seniors that I am going to share with you before we start breaking in with the 2012 Mike Wise Seniors spokesmodels.  I have been super busy shooting the 2012 senior spokesmodels for www.MikeWiseSeniors.com, so if you haven’t visited there yet be sure to check it out.  There are only a few spots still available for July senior portrait sessions, so contact me asap to get your session booked.

I really enjoyed shooting with Caroline on her sports pictures. I love trying to create a different look for each sport. She is a three sport athlete for the Kokomo Lady Wilkats, so we had a lot of choices for her shots.  It is also not everyday that you get someone that will dress up in a Scooby-Do0 outfit when it is on the verge of 90 degrees.  Best of luck Caroline in your upcoming years!
