I wanted to share a story with all of you that I heard at our small group meeting last night. I think that this is a wonderful example of how if we are able to listen to our hearts and allow God to speak to us that we can do wonderful things. The story is about a young woman in Kokomo that I have known for many years and goes like this…

This young woman has a dream one night where she is made aware of this street address in Kokomo, so this goes on and she is very curious as to where this street address might actually be, or for that matter of whether it is actually a real place at all. So she sets off in search of the street address one day. She gets to the street and there is actually not anything there where the number would match up on the street, but there is a Tire Store that is right across the street. So she goes over there. So as she goes over there she sees a woman with her four kids in the car and she realizes that they are in a tough situation. They are in need of a tire and they haven’t enough money to buy the tire. They are from out of town and are on their way to another city. They are stranded. So she talks to the woman, and she explains her story to her and tells her that she really thinks that God has sent her there for the purpose of helping her and her family. So she tells the woman that she will help her. She not only buys her the one tire that needs to be fixed, but she tells the woman that she will buy her the other three because they obviously are in need of being replaced as well. So she goes in to pay for the tires and as she gets ready to pay for the amount she looks down and sees that the amount for the four tires is the exact same number that she had in her dream.

It was amazing listening to this story. I hope that I have retold it as heart felt as it was told to me.
