Kokomo, Indiana – Being a wedding photographer has brought me in contact with a lot of people that I met when I was a teaching tennis pro. It is funny how many “kids” that I used to teach when they were anywhere from six to 18 years old that are now getting married. So it is funny when I get to shoot their wedding because at times I still remember them as sometimes being just a little bigger than their racket.  Austin was one of those guys. Actually, his brother and sister were too, so it was nice to get to see them again as they were at the wedding.

Austin and Alisha were married at Grace United Methodist Church in Kokomo with their reception following at the Kokomo Country Club.

Austin and Alisha chose to see each other before the ceremony.  For those of you who follow my blog know how much I love it when couples do this.  Can we start making this a wedding tradition instead??  Just ask any bride or groom and see if they loved being able to tell the other one what they were feeling.  I can’t imagine waiting after the ceremony and releasing your guests!
