I think everybody has memories of the ballpark growing up. Either you were there as a player or there because your brother or sister was playing. From the nachos to the sunflower seeds I can pretty much tell you that so far the boys love everything there is to love about being at the ballpark.
Cole is now in his second year of playing Rookie league out at Northwestern with Blake playing his first year of T-ball. I love going out to shoot these games because I always love that the boys get to see what they look like when they play. Their faces always tell the story. Being able to shoot with a 300mm lens with on a Canon Mark 3 with a 1.4x extender also helps a little bit. I find that when I am shooting sports it always makes me appreciate the guys who do this for a living. You can be the best photographer in the world, but if the umpire or the coach steps in your way there is nothing you can do about it. Not only is it about timing, but it is also a game where there really might not be that much action. So your chances of getting something really good might only be two or three times per game. So my hat is off to you sport shooters. 🙂
Here are some of the shots that I got from their games last week…Hope that these bring back some great memories for you in your own times at the ball park. 🙂
Feel free to check out more pictures from the game on my Facebook page. Follow what I am doing on Twitter. Be sure to check out the Mike Wise Seniors website to book your senior pictures for 2012!
I bet these boys don’t want to hear that they are adorablleeee. But they are! Great work as always, Mike 🙂
