Kokomo, Indiana – I will start off by saying that I am sorry that I have not been blogging more. Every October this happens…the weather is awesome…the leaves start to change…and everybody wants their pictures taken!! So I have been really busy shooting and trying to get everything ready for everybody to start viewing. For October I shot three weddings…ten engagement sessions…nine high school seniors…four kids…and two newborns.  The good part is that I am all finished up with this year’s wedding season.  It is always a positive/negative feeling for me.  I love shooting weddings, so that is a negative that I will be taking the November and December months off, but the positive is that like anything too much of a good thing is not always the best.  Being away from the wedding scene for me gives me a chance to re-energize and also to learn.  I am my own worst critic, so the winter months are the perfect time for me to learn and explore different ways of shooting and using light.

Now for the good news.  I have lots and lots to blog about…The bad news is that I am pretty sure that I will not be able to get everybody on the blog. So please forgive me if I don’t feature your session on the blog.

Here is a little sneak peak of a maternity session with Jordanne and Travis…I shot their wedding in 2008 and am so thankful to be able to see them as they grow their family…They have just recently been blessed with a baby boy and named him Wyatt.  I will put up the selections from that session as soon as I have them ready.  Congrats to you both!
