Giving thanks…

I wanted to take just a few minutes to give thanks.   So many times in our lives we go on and on without stopping to really think about all that we have.   I am thankful for so many things in not only my life, but also my business.  I am so blessed to be able to have a job that is my passion.  As much as it is hard work, and believe me, it is work…I still wake up thinking that I can’t wait to put my camera in my hand.  There are times that I sometimes forget that some people don’t have a passion for anything in their lives, and I try to remind myself of that whenver I get grumpy about doing the little things in my business that are something the “not-so-fun” things.  I think for a while I just assumed that everybody has something that they have a passion for and maybe they do, but it is probably for things that only rarely come into their daily lives.

Something that I am very thankful for are my clients that I have gotten to work with over the last three years.  I honestly think that I have worked with some of the sweetest, most thoughtful wedding couples that I could ever ask for.  I know that this has a direct impact on how I connect with them on their wedding day, or whatever the occasion.

My family, friends, my health, my church, and everything else in my life are all such important parts to the puzzle that I try to put together each and every day.  I know that I could go on and on about all the thankful blessings, but I do want to thank one more person very specifically.  My wife.  She is behind everything that I do.  I am sure she would probably disagree with that, but I don’t.  I am very thankful for that.

So to end this Thanksgiving post I would encourage all of you to be thankful if you have found your passion, and if you haven’t keep searching for it.

Happy Thanksgiving. 🙂
