Happy Easter…

I hope everyone had an awesome Easter yesterday. We arrived back home about 8pm and my wife and I both said it seemed like it could be midnight.  We were on the go from about 9:45 until then…

We started off the day with a super service at Oakbrook Church.  I think that each year the services seem to be the best I have ever attended.  I think that there are a few reasons (one…Mark Malin) that it seems that way. :)  Cole sat in with us for the service.  He was so impressed with the music.  He met Morgan Young last week, so right away he noticed that he was rocking on the drums.

Then we were able to spend the rest of the day with our families. Two egg hunts later the boys both had more eggs than I could ever care to count. The funny part is that Blake, who is two, doesn’t even like chocolate, so he is always looking for jelly beans or suckers.

Cole was all dressed up in his Army outfit.  My wife’s great uncle gave Cole his helmet from when he served in the Army.  He was loving his “camo” Easter eggs.   I think we have gone through Bob the Builder…Star Wars (too many characters to mention)…a hunter…a spy…and now a soldier.  Who knows what will be next…I wonder if Tom Hanks started off his childhood this way?

Blake was trying to find some more jelly beans in his eggs during the search…

Here are my neices, Madison and McKenna, with Cole and Blake…I think there might have been about five or six cameras going off during this one…

One basket of eggs down…three more to go…
