The end of summer…on to the next chapter…

***I am going to be announcing a couple of dates for the “No More Green For Me” photography workshops in the next few days, so keep your eyes open or send me an email if you are interested.  These workshops will be geared toward getting bold and daring with your DSLR and getting off the green box.  So if you or somone you know is looking to advance their skills and learn how to use their camera to the fullest be sure to let them know.***

So here it is now in September…the summer months are no longer with us.  I love this time of the year, but I also know that winter is just around the corner.  This fall is going to be really busy with seven weddings and at least eight or nine engagement sessions for the 2010 bride and grooms.  With shooting high school senior pictures on top of that it makes for a very busy September and October.  I thought I would just share a few of the things that happened over the summer….

Cole started golfing this summer.  He really likes it a lot.  His friend Jim (who can shoot par or better)…took him to play for the first time and he played 8 holes his first time out.

Cole and I went out to Green Acres and played a little out there.  He cracked me up because the Northwestern High School girl’s team was out there practicing.  They told him that he could putt for them.  He couldn’t understand why they would want that?? 🙂

We have two new additions to our family…Max and Butch…or as Blake likes to call them “Maxey and Buuutch” when he runs after them to play.  I don’t know which is which…don’t ask.

Blake looooves his trains…I caught him one morning playing.  His favorite character from the Thomas the Tank Engine series is Diesel.  I love these shots of him in his own little world of trains because you never know when that part of him will move onto something else.

We landed at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum one day as we were on our way to the Indianapolis Zoo.  There were storms all over the Indianapolis area, so we still had a great time that day…

Our small group from church took a road trip to Bonge’s Tavern in Perkinsville.  That place is awwwwesome!
