Bowling with the kids…

We went bowling on Sunday of this weekend.  We took Cole to go for the first time.  He quickly realized that it is a little different than playing the Wii.  We met up with my sister, brother-in-law, and my nieces.  My parents came to watch the kids too.  They had a lot of fun with the bumpers on the sides.  Madison even got a strike without hitting the bumpers.  Cole was more interested in going to the arcade and getting snacks.  But needless to say we were able to get them out of the house and doing something.

I am pretty safe to say that I suck at bowling.  For some reason I have this theory that spinning the ball down the lane at a high rate of speed will work better than just trying to go straight.  I think it is more fun that way.  My wife beat me in the last frame 102 to 97.  I think it will probably be another three or four years before I go bowling again, but for a five degree day outside and the Patriots playing the Chargers instead of the Colts it was perfect.

I thought Cole was going to throw this one like a shot put!

My wife Wendy took this one of me…I think this was what broke my concentration.  So I missed bowling my perfect game…

I love the one of the three kids watching the ball go down. And the gutter ball, how funny is that! I need to take Samantha bowling, I didn’t realize how fun it would be for kids, but I can see they had a good time.

I went bowling this past weekend too, I got a 96! Would of been better but I kept making fun of a friend that kept getting gutterballs, and then I would do it too. Just goes to show me not to make fun of people.

Thanks for sharing these pictures of your family, too sweet.ReplyCancel
