Is your camera messing up your pictures? – Photography Workshop Indiana

november709-workshopmd4

As a reminder that the No More GREEN BOX For Me photography workshop will be November 7, 2009.  This workshop is geared towards those wanting to get off the green box, but haven’t had the courage to do so yet.  Own a DSLR but are afraid to try anything but the green box?  We will cover the different modes that your camera offers and which one is the best for you in different situations.  So get ready to never return to the GREEN BOX again!!!

Here is the workshop information…

A digital SLR camera is needed for this workshop.  This is a camera that you can change the lenses.  This would be like the Canon Rebel series, Canon 30D40D50 D, the Nikon D80, D90, or the Sony Alpha series, etc.  These are all just examples and there are many more.

The workshop will focus on the basics of each of these areas…shutter speeds, aperture, ISO, finding and seeing light, Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe LightRoom, and letting your creativity out.  We will of course discuss in detail about gaining the courage to get off that GREEN BOX and start taking control of your camera!!

This is not a workshop to learn how to shoot weddings or to start a photography business.  It is geared towards “mom’s with cameras”…sport photography dads…Mamarazzi’s…enthusiasts…hobbyists…basically anyone who has spent a lot of money on their camera and yet is still using the GREEN BOX!!

  • The workshop will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2009, from 10am-4:00pm at the Wise Photography Studio in Kokomo, Indiana.  Lunch will be provided.
  • There will be a limit of 15 participants per workshop.  This will be on a first come first serve basis.
  • This will be a very relaxed atmosphere with opportunities to ask questions and for open discussions.
  • You will be shooting different situations, people, and objects.  The workshop fee is $150 per person.  Do not send in any money until you have contacted me via email to make sure that the spot is still available.  I will email you the registration form and other details about the workshop to send in with your registration.
  • If you would like to sign up for the workshop please send an email to mike@mikewisephotos.com.  I will send you the registration and the payment information.  This will be on a first come first serve basis, so reserve your spots as soon as possible.
