…I always hope that I capture the personality of the senior and that their photos reflect where they are at in their lives at that point…blah blah blah…

Hahahaha…I wrote that because that seems to be on every website that I ever see in regards to senior pictures.  I am sure that every photographer says that to their seniors when they are shooting…I am sure that high school seniors don’t read that either.

So I guess if I was going to write a short description I would probably describe my work as fun, natural, and relaxed senior portraits.  I don’t go for the model-magazine cover plastic p’shopped look.  I am not saying that is wrong at all.  I guess my reason is that I want more of a timeless look to my work as well as a more natural.

One thing that I enjoy about shooting senior pictures is when I get to shoot with somebody who is fun and energetic.  I don’t expect everyone to be like that, but when I shoot senior pictures my goal is to make it relaxed, fun, and to not feel like it is work.  I mean for the senior. 🙂  Yes it is “work” for me.  But it is “work” in a good way.  There is the challenge of getting the senior to relax and have fun in front of the camera.  So when it does their personality and the actual person shows up in their shots as well…So my reason for writing this is Molly.  It was a pretty cold afternoon, so she pulled that off with flying colors.  She also made this session a lot of fun and brought her energy and personality as well.

Molly is a senior at Kokomo High School.  She is also on the KHS girl’s soccer team as well.  Thanks Molly for a great session and best of luck in your future…
