I just got back in late last night from WPPI in Las Vegas, so I am sorry for not posting. For those that don’t know this is the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International conference every year that brings in tons of talented photographers from all over the world to speak and teach. So instead of trying to cram everything into one post I thought I would share a little bit today. Then once my brain has recovered from flying 4,000 miles to spend five days listening to over 20 different speakers and sleeping roughly a total of 20 hours of sleep that I might make more sense. 🙂
I wrote this agenda last Friday before I left, so this was my plan….I’ll continue more after this so come back and I’ll fill you in on the details….
I have tried and tried to get a schedule down for myself so that I am not just wandering around trying to decide on what to do while I am in Las Vegas.  However…I am pretty sure that other things will come up and the schedule will probably get thrown out the window for some things. I am leaving out two items…sleep and food. :) I figure that both of those are things that I can catch up on when I get back, but I can promise you that I am not going to be leaving without going to at least a few awesome restaurants. So I have put together the following agenda…
Saturday…
1pm arrival…nothing planned as of right now, so this means that I will probably go out and shoot for myself…yes…it is Valentine’s Day. Yes this sucks that I will be away from my wife and my boys. 🙁
Sunday…
12pm KISS Get Simple Workshop with Kevin Swan, Nathan Holritz, Shaun Austin, and Mike Larson
6pm WPPI welcome reception and mock wedding

Flight out at 12pm…
Here is a shot that I got on the Vegas Strip. Vegas is such an odd city because this picture could have been taken at 8pm or at 4am and it would look exactly the same.
Hope you had a great time! It was our first time to wppi, and it was almost too much to take in! But we learned a lot and met so many awesome people. Hope we run into you there next year! 🙂
Love this picture!
